Every day, when my son gets home from school, our giant 6-foot skeleton is in a new place in the house, doing new activities.
Halloween has been a big thing in our house. Big theme. Outside, we're like that house on the street that everyone is so annoyed by, because we have all these blow-ups going all over the place and lots of lights and craziness. The inside of our house is decorated like a haunted house.
So it's a little over the top, if you ask me. Then again, for Halloween, more is always better.
My favorite piece this year is a really scary-looking blow-up clown with a light-up face. He's a very evil-looking, scary joker clown. He's really hard to explain, but rather interesting.
What I want from people who see it is simple: for them to look and point and be like, oh cool, these people have the spirit.
Inside, the house is a total haunted house for my son's friends. There are decorations everywhere, and they have fun with it.
And then there's the skeleton, our little running joke. It's very supernatural. He moves on his own, and no one knows. Anyway, it's kind of fun.
