I claimed a World Economic Forum talk's title as it aired
The One Person Enterprise name joined HypnoAthletics, Dream Action Yoga and my other names, and showed me what they all serve: a ministry for the homeless.

Last year I was listening to a LinkedIn Live presentation from the World Economic Forum. I'm not sure who the speakers were, but I know the subject was AI and the title was One Person Enterprise. While I was listening, I wondered whether the website was available. I logged in to my GoDaddy account, typed in onepersonenterprise.com, and sure enough, it was.
The idea behind the talk was that an individual leveraging AI systems could potentially build a multimillion- or even multibillion-dollar enterprise, generating millions or billions in revenue and even net profit. I was surprised that after the World Economic Forum had done a presentation under that name, nobody had already secured it. I co-opted it, first because I just really liked the way it sounded, and second to talk about ideas about being a one-person enterprise. The site has deviated since, but that was its original purpose, and it's really the purpose of everything I do: figuring out how to be a one-person enterprise.
I've had that GoDaddy account since March 2006, when my first website went online as a subdomain of HypnoAthletics. I had just graduated in clinical hypnosis from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute and was working my first job, as a personal fitness trainer at a gym, so HypnoAthletics made sense. The subdomain was EYM, for Exercising Your Mind, which became my next website in 2007.
Many names, one business
My business is actually called UniquilibriuM LLC, and One Person Enterprise is one of its DBAs. You could call it a vanity project, but I took the name because it encapsulates what I'm doing. The names have accumulated over the years: HypnoAthletics, then Exercising Your Mind, then UniquilibriuM, which became the LLC, then One Person Enterprise. Along the way I was already using KappaGuerra for my martial art and Dream Action Yoga for my own brand of yoga.
I think of it the way Decathlon works. The sporting goods company has a basketball brand, a boxing and MMA brand, a hiking brand and on and on, but they're all Decathlon. Walmart has Ozark Trail. They're different names under the same umbrella brand.
I use different names because people approach things in different ways. Not everybody's going to like the name UniquilibriuM. Not everyone likes hypnosis, and HypnoAthletics might scare them; Exercising Your Mind sounds safer. Each name carries its own statement:
- HypnoAthletics is exercising your mind toward universal harmony and spiritual wisdom through healthy living and self-defense.
- PhysioMeditation is fitness, nutrition and spiritual life coaching.
- Dream Action Yoga is exposing the conditioned personality.
- KappaGuerra is the only war to wage within.
On onepersonenterprise.com, I link out to all my other websites to show the range of what I do: hypnosis, metaphysics, fitness training and music. I also blog about things like being a literary agent and writing books. I haven't really built anything specifically out of the site. It's a showcase.
Wesley Taylor, the fitness director at One Life Fitness, where I used to be a personal trainer and am still a member, once told me something I hadn't known. I was doing so many things that were good for the business and for getting clients, and he meant it as praise: The full saying isn't just "jack of all trades, master of none." It's "jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."
I know nothing we do happens in a vacuum, totally separated from others. But whatever you can do on your own, as much as possible, leveraging AI and other technological tools, I think is a great thing to do. Being self-sufficient and independent does not mean being non-communal. I think it's quite the opposite: Be as independent as you possibly can while building strong, secure, honest and safe relationships with other people.
Being self-sufficient and independent does not mean being non-communal.
The center point
One Person Enterprise is what showed me the center point of everything I do, and it isn't the website. It's Sword Paper Ministries. Sword Paper is a one-person enterprise, and everything I do is meant to benefit its missions. The charitable one is to educate, feed and clothe the homeless, and to educate the general public on why they should do the same. The faith-based one is to help people understand that the universe is eternal.
I've been an ordained minister through Wisdom of the Heart Church since 2024, and I have a Ph.D. in metaphysical sciences. I wrote a paper called the Eternality Axiom, which states that all knowledge and all power is in all places at all times. The argument rests on conservation: Energy and matter can't be created or destroyed, only change form, and Einstein's equation shows they're interconvertible. If something can't be created, it's already there. If it can't be destroyed, it always will be. I call that eternality. The idea isn't new; it's a restatement of omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence. But I've been able to prove it, for all intents and purposes, using physics.
The money follows the same lines. People say "own nothing, control everything" without knowing what it means, so here's how it works for me. My public-facing LLC is my for-profit business, and its sole member is a C corporation that manages it. The LLC's dividends go to the corporation, which pays me a CEO salary of $20,000 a year. That's not a lot of money, which means I don't pay a lot of taxes. The rest funds a trust, which is simply an account that holds assets on behalf of a beneficiary. The beneficiary is Sword Paper Ministries, which I've set up as a 508(c)(1)(A) church. Channeling the money that way gives me resources for the missions and lessens my tax burden, so there's more left for them.
Educating, feeding and clothing
I've covered all three areas — educating, feeding and clothing — without registering any of it or making it public. To educate, I've ordered author copies of my books about the Eternality Axiom and handed them out along with little pamphlets of encouragement. I've printed out the locations of churches that have food banks, put them on maps and shown people how close they are to places they can go for a safe space. I've even done things that aren't necessarily officially sanctioned so people can get rest and sleep. Sometimes you have to be a maverick and bend the rules a little if you're helping people.

I also keep storage units of clothing and shoes I've outlived the use of, along with things I've acquired. I buy brand-new socks, mostly, because you wouldn't believe how important socks, shoes and underwear are to people who are homeless. And I stock nonperishables that hold for a long time: canned food, and can openers to go with it.
